What Feeds the Soul

The process of remaking natural stone into a new and beautiful creation is a transformative process that feeds my soul. My influences are varied. As I child I traveled to Rome as was astounded at the almost perfect recreation of the human form in marble that Michael Angelo achieved with “David”. The class that hand carved alabaster accents bring to a space. The great hand carved limestone elements that grace so many buildings around where I grew up and live today.

My sculptural interests run from contemporary to classical, statuary, fireplaces, fountains, works of public art, memorials. I create designs and I can work with architects and planners.

My work is hand carved and given the time and care necessary to each piece. Large commisions or small, this is the core of what motivates me.
